File Submission

Print Real always recommends verifying all files twice and even three times before sending them to us for printing. Remember, Print Real does not alter files in any way. It is your responsibility to ensure that the files are 100% correct. Print Real will attempt to detect any errors you’ve made, but makes no promises. Never rely on Print Real to catch your error.

The things that can happen that are 100% the customer’s responsibility are:

For PDF files:

Transparency issues. Sometimes PDF files will have incorrectly set transparencies before sending the order to Print Real for printing.
All fonts and text are NOT outlined (converted to curves).
Incorrect bleeds.
File is below 300 DPI.
File is not in CMYK (ALL images in the file), there are Pantone or PMS colors.
No crop marks provided.
Incorrect file size.
OBJECTS ARE OVERPRINTED (If something is overprinted, it is very likely to come out wrong). 

For TIFF, JPEG files: 

Incorrect bleeds. File is below 300 DPI.
File is not in CMYK.
No crop marks provided.
Incorrect file size. 

For Illustrator, InDesign, Corel, or EPS files:
All fonts and text are NOT outlined (converted to curves).
Incorrect bleeds.
File is below 300 DPI.
File is not in CMYK (ALL images in the file), there are Pantone or PMS colors.
No crop marks provided.
Incorrect file size.
OBJECTS ARE OVERPRINTED (If something is overprinted, it is very likely to come out wrong).

Response Time Due to Covid and/or any unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, we will do our best not to delay orders but cannot promise it. No refunds can be approved for this reason.

All delivery times are ONLY for Print Real’s business days.
Additionally, if there is any issue with the file, the response time will be null and cannot be promised.

Next Business Day For OTHERS, the order MUST be received by 10:30 a.m. ET on a business day to be ready the NEXT business day. For BUSINESS CARDS AND POSTCARDS, the order MUST be received by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on a business day to be ready the NEXT business day.

2-5 Business Days
The order MUST be received by 3:00 p.m. ET, otherwise, it will be delayed one more day.

Returns and Refunds
Customer orders have no resale value. Therefore, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If there is an error due to Print Real, we will reprint the order at 100% of our cost and match the selected shipping method (e.g., if you originally chose ground shipping, we will ship it at no charge). (Shipping method will not be upgraded without charge.) If the customer is at fault, the customer will assume 100% responsibility. Any defects discovered in your work must be reported to Print Real within 2 days of receiving your order. After 2 days, there will be no returns or refunds. When an order is eligible for a credit, the customer must return the work to Print Real assuming the shipping cost before any credit is granted. Very importantly, DO NOT return the order to us unless we have verified and confirmed an error on the part of Print Real. If you send it without verification, the work will be discarded, and the charge will be retained.

Cancellations
Once an order is submitted to Print Real, the order is FINAL. In some cases, the order will be eligible for cancellation, but a fee will apply based on the stage the order is in. In most cases, the job will be too far along to stop it.

Order Completion
Print Real reserves the right to refuse service and/or business without disclosing any reason.

All Print Real customers agree not to hold Print Real responsible for shipping delays caused by weather conditions, shipping company delays, or any other circumstances beyond Print Real’s direct control (power outages, press failures, etc.). Print Real’s shipping and delivery dates are calculated based on estimates provided by our suppliers. Any claims related to the delivery of your order through our preferred carrier (UPS) must be filed within 14 days of shipment. Additionally, Print Real does not consider Saturdays, Sundays, ANY holidays or vacations (posted on the site’s homepage when applicable) as a WORKING DAY. Print Real will TRY not to delay any order due to holidays or vacations, but is not responsible if delays occur.

Silk Material
Any reference to “Silk” on our site means matte plastic film applied to paper.

Incorrect Shipping Address / NO – P.O. Box / Undeliverable Package We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. If you enter a P.O. Box address in the shipping information, additional charges may apply. If the address is incorrect and/or the package is returned and/or the address is incorrect and/or the package cannot be delivered, additional shipping charges will be incurred.

Blind Shipping
If you are going to do blind shipping (send something to an address other than your billing address), make sure to enter the address in the Customer Information section of the order form. Do not enter any shipping address information in the comments section of the order form. We will not be responsible if you do and we do not catch your error and send the order to you.

Shipping
We cannot combine orders for shipping. Each shipped order is considered an individual shipment. Remember, the shipping address is provided by the customer. All information entered in the billing and shipping addresses is 100% your responsibility. Print Real is not responsible for ANY errors on your part.

Graphic Design
Print Real does not offer any graphic design services. Print Real IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: spelling, graphics, bleeds, grammar, damaged fonts, punctuation, incorrect or displaced cuts when no crop marks are provided, any object or text left in Overprint. We make no changes to ANY file.

Sending Designs or Graphics
Images, designs, and artwork must be submitted in CMYK format. Print Real does not print Pantone or PMS colors, they will be converted to CMYK. Print Real is not responsible for any color shifts that may occur in RGB to CMYK conversions or Pantone to CMYK. Images, designs, and illustrations should be submitted with a minimum of 300 DPI and in CMYK color mode. Customer-provided artwork may vary in quality, therefore Print Real is not responsible for pixelated, blurry, or distorted images. Important: Print Real will print from YOUR file. If what is sent to Print Real for printing is dark, it will print dark. If what is sent is light, it will print light. So, what you provide to Print Real for printing is what you will get when you receive your printed work. Once again, Print Real IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: spelling, graphics, bleeds, grammar, damaged fonts, punctuation, incorrect or displaced cuts when no crop marks are provided, any object or text left in Overprint. We make no changes to ANY file.

Proofing and Color Matching
We DO NOT guarantee colors in any way! Print Real is not responsible for color matching, screen/monitor colors, or ink densities of customer-provided proofs. Screen proofs can be used to help show design, text accuracy, image placement, and proportion, but definitely not color. Important: Multiple-run printing is a sheet set up to print with many different customer jobs combined to run at the same time. Colors may vary with this type of printing. This process allows us to spread the expensive initial setup cost of running a full-color offset job among many different customers. Print Real will print directly from the digital files provided by the customer. (Important: Print Real will print from YOUR file. If what you send to Print Real for printing is dark, it will print dark. If what you send is light, it will print light. So, what you provide to Print Real for printing is what you will get when you receive your printed work.) The appearance of printed colors may be affected by UV coating (they tend to darken slightly, primarily in the yellow color) and colors will also look different depending on how bright or how dark the environment is where the printed work is viewed, therefore Print Real is not responsible for the final color appearance of products. Remember that we print what is sent to us.

Materials
Print Real will do its best to print your order on the requested material. Due to supply shortages nationwide, your order may be printed on a similar material.

Quantities
Print Real will attempt to print the desired quantity, but due to paper sheets, UV coating, trimming, etc., there may be up to 10% above or below all orders. This is an industry standard. We will do our best to provide the desired quantity.

Designing with borders is not recommended. When used, we will try to keep the work as uniform as possible, but always remember there is some inevitable tolerance that must be taken into account. We do not guarantee a uniform cut around the edges or any kind of design. It is 100% acceptable for a printed product to vary or be uneven by up to 1/8 of an inch sometimes. This is sometimes IMPOSSIBLE to avoid. As a result, Print Real does not guarantee that ANY job will be 100% perfect from start to finish. Unfortunately, that’s not possible in printing. As for the final size, this can vary slightly.

Normal printing standards are about 1/8 inch. This means that if you send a 4 x 6, the final size may be as small as 3 7/8 x 5 7/8 (3.875 x 5.875). This is completely acceptable in the printing industry. The reason is the INEVITABLE tolerances in paper mills, presses, and cutters. However, we will do our best to make the final size what is desired. Additionally, Print Real has the right to upgrade paper quality without notifying the customer, but NEVER to downgrade paper quality or charge extra. (e.g., orders may say 80 lb. text, but print on 100 lb. text.) Additionally, the standard paper color for 70 lb uncoated linen, 70 lb plain uncoated, 100 lb uncoated linen, and 100 lb plain uncoated cover is WHITE.

When folding a job, there may be INEVITABLE “cracks” along the folded spine. This happens because when you fold, you are slightly tearing/creasing one layer of the paper, giving it the appearance of “cracking.” There is nothing that can be done to avoid cracking. The only way to somewhat “disguise” it is to design with a white background. This will not show the contrast between a dark color and white paper fibers once it cracks.

Acceptance of Terms
The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and Print Real. By accessing, browsing, and/or using this site (“Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including export and re-export control laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site. The material provided on this Site is protected by law, including, among others, the United States Copyright Act and international treaties. This Site is controlled and operated by Print Real from its offices within the United States. Print Real makes no representation that materials in the Site are appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this Site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. Additionally, Print Real is not responsible for any damages resulting from copyright law violations or the illegal use of phrases, slogans, etc. By placing an order, Print Real’s customer assumes full responsibility and guarantees that all material submitted to Print Real is legal to print.

Any claim relating to the use of this Site and the materials contained herein is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Use Restrictions
The copyrights to all materials provided on this Site belong to Print Real or the original creator of the material. Except as stated herein, no material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including, but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of Print Real or the copyright owner. Permission is granted to display, copy, distribute, and download the materials on this Site for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you do not modify the materials and retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the materials. This permission terminates automatically if you breach any of these terms or conditions. Upon termination, you must immediately destroy any downloaded and printed materials. Nor can you, without Print Real’s permission, “duplicate” any material contained on this Site on any other server. Any unauthorized use of any material contained on this Site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, privacy and publicity laws, and communications regulations and statutes.

Limitation of Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL Print Real BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, ARISING OUT OF THE USE, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE MATERIALS ON THIS SITE, EVEN IF Print Real OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF Print Real HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IF YOUR USE OF MATERIALS FROM THIS SITE RESULTS IN THE NEED FOR SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION OF EQUIPMENT OR DATA, YOU ASSUME ANY COSTS DERIVED.
